Who's to Blame?

Britney's POV

It's amazing you know. When your in the public eye everything you do is judged. Judged by people who don't know anything about you. I mean god forbid the Almighty Britney Spears smokes. Now here's the funny part. They blame me for all the young teenagers who smoke. They think just because I do that now these kids want to too. You know what else is funny people believe it! If I drink its like the end of the world. I mean Hello I am 22 years old. I'm not doing a damn thing wrong here.

You see they think I'm the reason that young girls dress sexier and sexier every day. Now I admit they may get it from the outfits I wear on stage and in videos, but I have said time after time that its just me playing dress up and younger girls shouldn't wear what I do. I mean come on do I buy the close for them? NO! Do I let them walk out of the house like that? NO! Who does the parents the people who blame me.

Now here's a good one. They blame me and Christina for all these teenage girls wanting to diet and be thin. They think we're the reason that they have eating disorders To get a Bosy Like Britney they say. Now lets get somethin straight. If you read the news papers recently me and Chris we can't win with you people. First you tell us we are too thin. Now we gain some weight and you call us fat. Do you think that's gonna help all these young girls out there. They are gonna see two girls who way what between 115 to what 125 pounds and they are gonna look and the mirror and just starve themselves more. But wait I forgot its my fault. I wasn't supposed to be thin and I wasn't supposed to gain weight.

Now ask yourself this: Who's to blame?

The papers who wanna target someone for other peoples mistakes or yourself for getting so wrapped up into my life that you believe every little thing those papers print. Every lie and every rumor that you take in. That you are influenced by what some stuck up reporter who doesn't know the truth says.

Think about it!
