Water Runs Dry

Part 1
Britney tosses both arms in the air, her breath cut short, trying to contain her tears back. She glares at him as he does the same
"I'm going out for a drive" He says grabbing both of his keys.
"Like always" She says.
"Look I don't want to start all over again, I'm out" He slams the door behind him, making her jump. A tear slips down her cheek, but she wipes it away quickly. She's tired of this, doesn't want any part of this anymore, yet he always comes back they both say their sorry, but not long after that another stupid argument arises. She heads upstairs towards their bedroom and lies down on the soft queen size bed. She closes her eyes hoping to wake up from this nightmare she just lived out of.
2
hours later
Justin parks his car in the driveway, seeing the lights from the house switched off. He opens the door and exits the car making his way towards the front steps, before he unlocks the door he paces back and forth through the small porch. He glances up at the stars gazing up at them, admiring the light they so proudly shine. He scratches the back of his neck holding the bouquet of white roses in his left hand. He unlocks the door and pushes it open entering the foyer; he switches on the light glancing at all the mess they made. Climbing the steps quietly he tosses the keys on the couch, then makes his way towards the bedroom noticing her lying on the bed with her eyes closed. He sets the roses on the nightstand besides her and kisses her cheek softly. She stirs and begins to flutter her eyes open.
"Shhh, go back to sleep" He lies besides her pulling her close. He sighs deeply and falls asleep.
"Damn it Justin, I'm tired of all this bullshit!!"
"I am too, fuck Britney...ugh you keep on blaming me for all of this that this whole thing is falling apart when it's not. You...Ugh god Brit I’m getting tired of this!" She pushes her way through him into the living room looking out the window, wrapping her arms around herself.
"Look Britney I love you"
"No you don't Justin...if you did you'd continue to spend time with me" She mumbles.
"You’re acting as though I'm the only one that does that, you do it too. The only time I can get close to you is when you're asleep, as soon as that fucking sunlight hits our windows we wake up in hell again" He says shoving both of his hands in his pockets.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that we just continue to argue whether it’s because I come home too late, you hate the fact that I'm being around you too much. Over stupid shit"
"No we don't" She says.
"Yes we do Brit, don't try denying that"
"Now you're blaming that on me?"
"No, you know what I'm stopping this right now" He says raising both of his hands. He leans his back against the wall closing both of his eyes.
"I'm getting tired of this" She looks at him, wanting to touch him tell him that everything will be alright, but she doesn't. Instead she turns her back opening the garage door.
"Where are you going?"
"For a drive, let's see you try to hold on for a few hours without me" She slams the door shut leaving him alone.
