Taxi Driver
SS by Dana
“Come
on L.L.” Britney said paying the bill for their lunch. They walked out and
hailed a taxi. The cab came and they got in.
“Where
to ladies?” They driver asked.
“They
Trump Tower please.” He drove off. “Did you see that waiter? HE kept eying
me.” Laura Lynn said smiling.
“Really?”
Britney said dryly. She kept staring at the driver. They arrived at the hotel.
“That will be $14.57 ladies.” He said not looking up. Britney handed him a $20.
“Keep
the change.” She smiled. Justin just laughed and drove off.

It
was around 6:00 and Justin was cleaning out his cab> he noticed a black purse
and opened it. It had a wallet, room key, credit cards, and pictures. He was
looking at a picture of Britney with her family, one with her and her dogs and
another by herself. He decided to be a Good Samaritan and return the purse. He
drove to the hotel. Justin walked up to her room and knocked.
Fe
answered. “May I help you?” She said not letting him see inside.
“Um…Britney
Spears left this in my cab and I wanted to return it.” Fe just stared at him
and closed the door in his face. “This is what being nice gets you, J.” He
put the purse down and started to leave.
“Wait…wait.
Thank you for returning my things. I’ve been looking for them all day.”
Britney said coming out from her shower.
“No
problem, Mrs. Spears.” He said looking over her body.
“Call
me Britney.” She said noticing his stare.
“Britney,
Britney you need to get ready, let’s go.” Fe yelled.
“I
guess I’ll see you around?”
“Listen
I need a date for this after party, they’re throwing me and I was wondering if
you could be my date or if you could come to my concert. I don’t know what
I’m saying anymore.” Britney rambled on.
“You
don’t even know me from a can of paint and you want to go out with me?”
Justin asked. Britney looked at her feet.
“Well
I’m kind of desperate here and I think you’re safe to be with. But if you
don’t want to I’ll just go with my brother or something. Thanks again for
bringing my purse back.” She headed back to the room.
“I’ll
go with you. I’m not doing anything tonight, we can get to know each other.”
He smiled.
