Something in the Ice
Cream

"Cameron, where the hell are my
work shoes?" Justin yelled to Cameron upstairs.
"I don't know." Cameron yelled
back coming down the stairs.
Jusitn sighed. "Well, I guess I'll
just have to wear my boots." Justin said, going up the stairs.
Cameron sat down on the couch with a
bowl of chips.
"All right, love you babe."
Justin said kissing her on the cheek.
"Love ya. When you going to be
home?" Cameron asked, getting up off of the couch.
"I don't know. Sometime. All I know
is that I have to do some paperwork on a case tonight. Probably late."
Justin replied, grabbing his brief case.
"Oh, OK. Well be careful."
Cameron said, as shewalked him out his car.
"I will. Love you." Justin
smiled, pulling out of their driveway. Cameron walked back inside, once again,
alone.
"An 8 million dollar house, and all
I get is lonliness." Cameron mumbled.
"Justin, we need you to have dinner
with a partner tonight, do you think you can go?" Berry, Justin's boss
asked over the cell phone.
"Yeah, sure. Where at?" Justin
asked.
"New Franklin. It's new restraunt
uptown. She should be there in about 10 minutes. Its next door to Versace."
"Oh, OK." Justin said. He knew
all too well where that was. Buying clothes with Cameron, over and over again.
A few minutes later, Justin pulled into the restraunt.
"Here you go." He said handing
the keys to the valet.
He walked into the restraunt, and up to
the waiter.
"I'm Justin Timberlake-"
"Right this way." The waitress
smiled, leading him to a table with an absolutely gorgeous blonde.
"Hello, I'm Britney." Britney
smiled, extending her hand.
"Justin." He smiled, kissing
her hand, making Britney blush.
"Must be from the south? Tennesee I
presume." Britney laughed, picking her menu up.
"How'd you know that?"
"I have a way of knowing. Perhaps,
you've heard of profiling?" Britney joked.
"Stupid me." Justin laughed
"And you?"
"Louisanna." Britney smiled.
"Nice. Where at?" Justin
asked.
"Kentwood." Britney replied,
looking at her menu.
"Small town?"Justin asked,
with interest.
"How'd you guess?"
"Just the way you said it."
Justin chuckled.
"Oh." Britney smiled.
"Would you like to order now?"
The waitress asked.
"Britney?" Justin asked.
"Um, sure." Britney smiled.
"OK, I'll have the Lobster with a
shrimp cocktail, and she'll have the,"
"Lobster also." Britney said
giving her menu to the waitress.
"You're a lobster girl?"
Justin asked as the waitress left.
"Always have, always will."
Britney chuckled putting her purse on the floor.
"Since we're here for business,
shouldn't we be discussing the case?" Britney asked.
"Oh, yeah." Justin replied,
dissapointed that she ended their conversation so soon.
"Personally, I don't think the wife
has a chance. I mean, they did sign a prenup right? I mean, what does she
think she's going to get out of him?" Britney asked as the waitress
brought their dinners.
"I don't know. I mean, she does get
something though. She gets two of the houses, four of the cars, and keeps
everything she has now. But I don't think, if the case goes the way it should,
then I don't think the prenup will stay at a standstill. They've been married
for nine and a half years, if the case does go to where they'll be married for
the ten years, the prenup will be useless. She'll get half of
everything." Justin replied, taking a bite into his lobster.
"True. In a way, I feel sorry for
her. I mean, she's been living this extravegant lifestyle and it's about to be
taken away from her." Britney said sadly.
"Women. You're always said about
something when something bad happens." Justin joked.
"Hey, we're just emotionally
charged with a lot of things that are on our minds. It's the hormones."
Britney said.
"Don't go blaming the hormones now.
We men have some estrogen in our systems and we don't cry about stuff."
Justin said as he finished his dinner.
"Yeah, well, you have more
testosterone than women do, so beat that." Britney laughed, throwing her
napkin at her.
"Since when did we get into talking
about hormones?" Justin asked, as the waitress cleared their plates from
the table.
"I don't know, you brought it
up." Britney said.
"No, you did. You said-"
"OK, I know what I said."
"Would you like a dessert? Maybe a
Valentine's couple dessert? You two look like a lovely couple." The
waitress smiled.
"We're not-"
"What was that? I didn't hear,
because of the couple over there." The waitress said, chuckling.
"Nothing." Justin smiled.
"We will have the um, Valentine's couple dessert or whatever."
"Justin! What are you doing."
Britney asked
"Chill out. I used to do this when
I was a kid. Smuggle things off of people." Justin chuckled.
"We could of just ordered different
desserts. We both have the money." Britney griped.
"Yes, I know. But I bet their
couples dessert is delicous." Justin said in a Brittish accent.
"Ok. I have to admit, you are
funny." Britney blushed.
"Are ve know blushin Ms.
Spears?" Justin said again in a French accent, which caused Britney to
laugh even more.
"So, Mr. Timberlake, how old are
you? You're acting like a two year old." Britney giggled as he rested his
head on his hand.
"Well Maa'm I am 28 years old and
well, I just can't help myself sometimes." Justin replied in a cowboy
accent, which caused Britney to laugh harder.
"And how old might we be
miss?" He asked, immitating an old age man.
"Well, I'm 24." Britney
replied.
"Ah. Young!" Justin excalimed.
The waitress brought their dessert back.
"It seems you two are having fun.
Maybe you'll get as heated as that couple who left a few minutes ago."
The waitress joked, causing Britney and Justin to blush. "I'm just
joking. Well enjoy your dessert." She said, leaving their bill. Justin
looked at it.
"$410 aint bad." Justin said,
pulling his wallet out.
"Nope." Britney replied,
looking at the dessert in front of them. It was 12 scoops of moosetrack ice
cream, with white and red whipped cream spelling out Happy Lovers Day to You.
"This looks good enough to not eat
and save it." Britney said. They both looked at each other.
"Nah." They both replied in
unison.
They talked for a while more, eating the
whole entire thing.
"I'm going to have to work this off sometime." Justin joked, putting
his spoon down.
"Why not tonight?" Britney
asked, scooting next to him
"Whoa. Uh, Britt, this is a little
uncomfortable." He said as Britney pushed up against him.
"Oh, come on. Don't you want
me?" Britney asked as Justin looked into her glossy eyes.
"Britt, either there's something in
that ice cream or you're drunk." Justin replied, trying to push her off.
"Silly, I haven't had one drink
tonight." Britney whispered, biting his ear.
"Oh god." Justin moaned.
"Come on." Britney
whispered, traveling her hands down his torso.
Justin grabbed her hand. "Look, as much as I'd like the offer, no. I have
a girlfriend at home, and, and..." Justin said as she starting kissing
his neck.
"Come one Justin. She'll never
know." Britney slowly said. She began to feel dazed.
"Britney?" Justin asked as she went out. "Sweetie? You
asleep?" Justin asked. He laughed. Definatly something in the ice cream.
