Sealed with a Kiss and My Heart
SS by Greta

It's nearly Christmas time. Who would have thought this girl, who had thousands fans in the world and millions of people that care about her, would feel so
lonely. No one. No one knows what's in her heart and no one knows her so well. Maybe she shines on the outside but maybe she's torn inside. Just like now.
Britney wrapped the last present not forgetting to mark it for Jamie Lynn. She always wanted these trainers. She smiles, imagining Jamie Lynn's face
when she will unwrap the present, that's all she can do now-imagine because she won't be there. Not because she couldn't, but because she knew it was
only for the best, at least that's what she thought. Once a happy celebration, now only filled with nostalgia and memories of happiness which she has lack of lately.

And here goes the last present, her heart slightly twinkles with a tingle.

She picks up the bracelet, the special bracelet and the sounds of memories echoing in her mind.

"I will give you this special bracelet when five years have passed in our relationship. I know you and love you."

"Brit, we've been going out just for a day," he chuckles.

"I believe in us," she rests her head on his shoulder and he doesn't answer, just runs his hand in her brown silky hair. She's his baby girl and she's more special than anything else. And that's how it feels to feel true love for the first time.

"I believe, too." Justin kisses her forehead.

Tears drop down followed by another. Britney wipes them away as if she's trying to wipe away the pain but it doesn't work. Just then, a knock on the door awakes her from these memories. She wipes her tears quickly and opens the door.

"Hey Brit, are you ready? You said you wouldn't need me. Did you decide in the end to go to your family?" Mo questions impatiently.

"Don't worry Mo, I don't take back my promises. You'll be spending Christmas with your family; you will be free tomorrow, I'm staying here and not
moving, now I just need you to come with me to send the presents."

"Thanks Brit!"

"Wait a second, Ill take them," she goes back to the room and picks them all up, not forgetting one, they all have to reach her loved ones.

"Lets go," she says and they leave.

"This is the last one."

"Brit, Brit, you forgot one," Mo picks up and shows one little box to Britney. She looks at it for a moment, not saying anything.

"I changed my mind, I won't send it."

"Ok then, lets go," he gives the present back to her and they head to go back.

"Hope that you have a Merry Christmas Brit, call me if you need me."

"Thanks for everything Mo, you too, have Merry Christmas," Britney smiled one last time to him before he left. Then she closed the door, and she's left alone. The
thought of it brought back tears to her eyes.

"Are you cold baby?" Justin looked, concerned at Cameron.

"Tiny bit, is your home somewhere near?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry I persisted to go on foot, I just missed these places," Justin said while putting his jacket on his girl. She smiled at him.

"It doesn't matter as long as I'm with you," she said. He kissed her and embraced his right hand around her waist.

"Here it is," he said pointing to the house in front of them.

"JUSTIN!!!" Jonathan squealed, jumping around.

"Hey bud, whereas mom?"

"On the phone."

"Look what we got you," Cameron gave him a nicely done box. Justin made his way to the kitchen to his mother, whom he missed most. Mother, the one who he
loved so much and would given anything for her, only being near her makes Christmas the best.

"..yes sweetie, no I'm telling you its alright, its a must."

"What's a must?" Justin asked hearing the last snippet of the conversation.

Lynn turned quickly to him.

"Hey Ill have to go now, don't back up," she hung up. Justin made his way closer to her and she pulled him in a hug not letting go of him for a while. Not that he wanted that.

"Missed you soo much," he said under the breath.

"Me too baby. Is Cameron here?"

"Yeah, she's with Jonathan."

"Ill go meet her then."

"Mom," Justin called her before she was gone out of his sight.

"Yes son?" she turned to him.

"Who were you talking with on the phone?"

"With a friend, about how she needs her Christmas wish to come true," Lynn smiled and left the room and a confused Justin.

"This is going to be the best Christmas ever," Cameron said while resting her head on his chest. They both were laying on the bed, it was getting late and
almost time to sleep.

"Rest baby," he kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes. He didn't count or look at time, but she was asleep soon enough. He couldn't though. He had too much thoughts flying around in his head to keep him up for some time. He was at his home finally, with his mother, brothers, girlfriend; everything was perfect but somehow it didn't seem that way, there was that empty space left in his heart which wasn't filled with anything and often would come up, especially when something would look like perfection; it just would prove that there's no such meaning. Or he didn't find it yet.

"Justin?" he heard a silent whisper.

"Mom? What are you doing here?"

"You just had Santa paying an early visit to you; your present is waiting outside."

"What??"

"Shh, don't wake her."

Justin didn't question her anymore. He carefully rolled out of bed, put on pants and sweater and made his way to the so-called surprise. His mother was nowhere
to be seen so he was left to find out everything by himself.

He closed the door behind him. It was dark, very dark, for a moment, he thought his mother was playing some trick on him, so he turned back to go to the
house.

"Wait," he heard a silent whisper, barely reaching his ears, but again, so loud and clear to his heart, echoing in the darkness and the peace around. He turned to face her. The blonde hair was shining in the dark, which he didn't notice at first, but saw so clearly now; she moved closer to him, which he didn't know but felt when he could distinguish her better.

He was angry, very angry, but unsure if he was toward himself or her. Why does she have to come and destroy what he had build up? Because she can. She has that ability over him and that's what he hates.

"What do you want?" he said harshly. For a moment, it seemed he made her cry, or was that moon shining. Not sure.

"I'm sorry," she said even more silent and looking down. Then he noticed a little something in her hands, which in a moment time, she extended to him. "I
wanted to give you it personally, that's it. Sorry, it was a mistake," she stuttered these words so quickly and that she barely understandable. She turned her back to
him and was gone out of his sight in no time. Justin looked down at the ground where a little box was laying crushed a tiny bit. He picked it up.

"I believe in us."

"I believe too."

The sounds stabbed his heart, tearing it into million pieces. He could see the bracelet so well, it shined the same as when he thought it was a tear from her eyes, and it was.

"Britney?" he called to her silently with a hope burning inside. There was no answer. He tried to look around but couldn't see anything just darkness around. The feeling of emptiness reigned in his inside. She won't answer, she's not for him anymore, just the piece of her like this bracelet is.

He closed the door like it was stone.

"Did you see her?" Lynn questioned. Justin raised his eyes and looked at her, then she saw he was crying, her baby cried. Tear glistened in her eyes. He didn't say anything just reached out for her hug. He so needed her, like the air he breathed.

"I let her go," he sobbed. There was nothing, just him and his mother, mother who knew him better than anyone else, mother who was always there for him,
through good times or bad times, or giving a shoulder to cry and cry with him.

"Shh baby, you didn't."

"I didn't believe in us. And she did, and I didn't know that."

"You did but you didn't know that," Lynn corrected him.

"You think its too late?" he looked at her with pleading eyes.

"Its never too late," she stroked his cheek gently. He caught her hand and kissed it. But this time, he was smiling, maybe there was still hope.

"Cameron will understand, don't worry," Lynn thrusted into Justin's hand car keys. Sometimes there was no need for words, and it had always been between this
mother and this son.

There was no point in searching; the darkness shrouded everything around. Not a glimpse of anything moving. But not this time, no, he will go to the end.

"Britney?" he whispered somehow feeling her presence. "I know you might not even be here, but my heart doesn't let me believe that so, Ill take my last shot. Funny huh? Doesn't that say that my heart doesn't want to let go? Ill tell you, it doesn't want us to let go. I want you with me, I don't know what happened the day we lost belief in what we had but damn it, I curse that day, we both caused each other pain, but I never ever," his voice cracked a bit, "ever meant to hurt you baby. I love you," he ended really silent. That was it, she wasn't there, he was alone.

"I-I love you too," he heard a sob just behind his back. He turned to face her and saw silver tears shining, not the moon, it was her, all her presence. He ran his fingers to wipe them away, he won't let them appear, he will wipe them away. From now on and forever. He smiled.

"What?" she said not letting go of his hand.

"My mom was right, I just received the best Christmas present ever, and one smart person whom I wish happiness said, "This is going to the best Christmas ever" and it is." He hugged her and held her like the most precious gem that she was. For these were two people whose heart beated and soul yearned for the other. There fate was sealed with one simple kiss. A love that grew from this day forward.
