Chapter 1

January 10 2004 

Britney grabbed Justin's hand and sat him down on the red sofa in the living

room. Her cheeks were stained with tears. She was defiantly worried.

"J...I need to let you know about something" Britney said sincerely. She was

worried what Justin would do. Would he leave her? Help her? She didn't know.

"What baby? Were you crying?" Justin asked her worriedly

"Yes...I don't know how to tell you this" Her voice stuck in her throat.

"What sweetie?"

"I lost the baby" She replied quietly. Justin's face went from colorful to

pale.

"Lost the baby?"

"Yes" By now tears were rolling down Justin's face.

"Baby it's ok" Justin said embracing her.

"No it's not. I lost the baby when I got into that accident on my bike J. They

said she was doing just fine and then she...she." Justin cut her off

"Baby listen. I know we just got back together in November and everything

that has happened from then on is much more easier than this ok? We'll get

through this" Justin's eyes were so sincere, yet glossed with tears

"Promise?" She asked her voice cracking

"Pinky promise" He said grabbing her pinky ring.

She smiled and started to cry again

"Baby it's ok" Justin tried to reassure her. Even he wasn't that strong. He

held her as they both cried.
