Hell Sweet Home
By Jen

o_o_sunday Challenge:  moving

These last 20+ years had been hell. Or, more to the point, they hadn’t been hell. Stuck in this human meat sac, weeping impotent tears of anger and frustration. Waiting, always waiting. Through Little League, high school football, college and keggers, medical school. That damn summer internship in the Children’s Wing. Little Miss Muffet, sat on a tuffet. It had driven her mad.

When she couldn’t go on, she raged against him, thinking she could kill them both. But then flesh and bone began moving, transforming.

Glory found a mirror, gave herself an appraising look. “This is more like it.”
