Love of My Life First, first time I looked into your eyes I saw heaven, oh, heaven in your eyes "Ha I won" Britney shouted as she threw the ping-pong raquet on the table. "You didn't win you cheated"Justin said "Hey Ry did you see that she cheated" "No man sorry I must have missed it" Ryan said as he sat in the back playing checkers with Christina "You just hate it when I win, and I do it so often"BRitney said as Justin put his raquet down and began to chase her around the room. "Man those two are pathetic"Ryan said "Yep, they just need to kiss already " Christina said as she continued to concentrate on the game. "Yeah"Ryan said as they hear their friends laughter as they ran out into the hall. What neither of them knew was that they had been sneaking those little innocent kisses for weeks now. "Hey guys"JC called out to the younger kids from where he stood in the door. "The produces have called a meeting ASAP" he said "YOu better move it, oh and if you see the love birds will you pass the word on" he said as he closed the door. A half hour later the once jovial group sat as still as stone. "Well thats about it we finish up this season and its a wrap.Ok now get out there and get to work" he said. All too soon Justin and BRitney had to say good-bye, neither one knowing that this good-bye would not last forever. Everything I did before you, wasn't worth my while It should've been you all the time "What time is it"Justin asked. "Ten minutes after the last time you asked me" JC said "She will be  here soon just hold on. "Man I can't wait to meet this chick if she has you all tied up like this"Joey said. But Justin wasn't paying any attention to him. He was watching the girl get out of the Jeep with Larry. It was Brit, it wasn't his little Brit. It was a totally new Brit. But when their eyes met they both knew that it was something that neiter of them had planned on or wanted at that time in their lives. They were both into their careers and other people. But it was just something that drew them together. I do anything, and everything to please you You know how much I need you You're always, always, on my mind "Hey you"Justin said as he walked up behind Britney.It had been a long month. He wanted so much to have what they had once had but he knew that right now it was impossible. "Brit" he said again trying to get her attention. But she was so caught up into staring into space. Finally she aswered "Yeah" she said but never turning around. "Brit you ok, you've been pretty quiet." "I;m fine" she lied "Sure you are, " he said sarcastically as he turned her around to see that she had been crying. "Brit" he asked as he watched the tear roll down her cheek "Whats the matter'' "Nothing" she lied again as she tried to turn away "Brit, tell me the truth" "Tomorrow is my birthday, i'm away from my family, and that asshole I called a boyfriend just broke up with me" she said as the tears began to fall harder."I'm all alone J" she said "You know now are you happy" "Your not alone, I promise you won't be alone' he said as he pulled her into his arms. "You'll never be alone" he said You're more than wonderful More than amazing "Come on Brit you can do it"Justin said to himself as he watched Britney perform from backstage. He knew the show would be awsome. Thats not the thing. ITs just that with her knee injury the doctors had told her ,had warned her that she may not be able to do what she had done before. But she fooled them all she was better.The last note of the last song was hit and she ran off the stage, "I did it J, I did it" she said as he picked her up and swung her around. "Yeah, Brit you really did. THis is only the beignning" he said almost sadly.In the back of his mind he kind of wished that the doctors were right. He thought that maybe she would need him more that way. But to see her now,would she ever need him at all. Britney looked at him and knew that something was bothering him. THey had known each other too long. "Nothing, just thinking" he said. "Come on lets go get something to eat" he said as he kissed the top of her head. "Ok ;et me change" she said. As she walked off she turned to where he stood"J " "Yeah" "Thanks" "Thanks for what B?" "Thanks for being such a great friend" She said With those words he felt that any chance he had with her was gone "No problem"he said to her back as she walked away. SHe hadnt heard from Justin since he had showed up at her concert and she found herself feeling lost without just hearing his voice. "Brit, It's time to go honey"Fe said as she walked into the room "you ok, the knee not bothering you is it?" She asked "No why would you think that?" "Well because you have been really quiet today, the past few days really" "No Fe I"m fine" she said "Fe, I think I did something. I don't know what though." "What do you mean" She asked "I think I made Justin angry at me" "Thats impossible"Fe interjected "No I think I did, I haven't heard from him in two weeks" She said "But I have no idea what I did" she said "Brit think about it, thats not like him. I mean are you sure you didn't do or say something to upset him?" Fe asked "Well you don't have time now to think about it. YOu have sound check and meet and greets" "Okay"Brit said as she walked quietly out the door. She went on with what she had to do with a smile on her face, but she knew that she had to get to the bottom of this for once and for all. That night after the show she walked into her dark dressing room, She was tired, both emotionally and physically. SHe sat down in the chair in front the mirror and decided that she would make the first move. She dialed Justins number. But only got his answering machine, what she had to say she didn't want to say to an answering machine. So she got up and walked to the bathroom to go and change. Twenty minutes later she walked out to find Justin sitting on the couch in the dressing room. She just looked at him, she didn't know what to say. But it was ok, he spoke first. "How good a friends are we" he asked as he began to walk towards her. "Um, J. You know how I feel" ""No Brit I don't. Tell me" he said "What do you want to hear" "Tell me that if I kiss you right now , that you won't push me away" "I won't push you away" she said as she licked her lips in anticipation. He slowly walked over to where she stood and put his hands on her face as his lips slowly decended to met hers. The kiss was light at first but soon it became more than either one of them imagined. He pulled away and layed his head on her should. This was right, this really felt right. Always, seems like reality Forever, don't seem so far away All I wanna do, all I wanna feel, all I wanna be is close to you Everyday, is my lucky day All I wanna do, is love you I place no one above you I'll tell you why "I don't like this Justin, I don't like this one bit" Britney said with tears in her eyes " I should be happy tonight, Its my birthday" "I know. I thought that you were happy?" he said "No not really. because I dont like to hide. I hate always having to be with a group and never alone with you. I hate tha I had to have a pretend date so that noone would think that we are together." She said "Brit you don't think I hate it as much as you" Justin asked "I do, I want to be able to talk about you to anyone who will listen. But for now" he said as he noticed the tear fall from her eye."Hey no crying bithday girl" "Its my party and I'll cry if I want to " She said "Come here" he said as he pulled her to him and held her "I promise I'll make it up to you"he whispered in her ear. "Do I?" She asked "Then why do I feel like my knees are shaking. wait you can't see them can you" But he only laughed "You know you go on stage every night and tonight you decide to get stage fright" "Well, I have alot to be nervous about. I mean the performance and then us. Its just alot" "BRit, how long have we talked about wanting to do this.?" "Along time" "And we said that we wouldn't let them rush us. We would do this at our own pace when we were ready. Do you think were ready?" he asked brushing a stray curl from her forhead. "Yes, but I'm still nervous" he asked jokingly "Yeah" she said "Well stick with me, we'll make it"" he said as he took her hand as they walked to the waiting cars. Baby you know, you know you're my one and only (All I wanna do is be together) Sugar you know, I'll never leave you lonely In your eyes, in your eyes I see forever Ahhhh, ohhhh, ohhh, ohhhhh, Ahhhhh, ohhhhhh, ohhhh, "Come on Brit Ericka is about to throw the bouquet" Kelly said "At  least we can try" Britney laughed "As long as there are no cameras around" she said as everyone at the table laughed as Britney , Kelly and Bobbie walked off to go and see who would be the next lucky bride. "ok, I'm laying odds on this one" Chris said as he pulled a fifty dollar bill from his wallet and sat it on table. "Chris, you missed Dani coming in?" Lance asked as they all laughed "No I saw her. make it a hundred" he said "I don't know thats too rich for my blood" JC said "Man ten buck is too rich for your blood."Joey said "I'll take that bet, but my money goes to bobbie. She's small and wirey" he said as JC just sat there and shook his head, "I double that, I have faith in my girl. She gets what she wants" Justin said as he plopped 2 one hundred dollar bills on the table. "Have you asked her yet" JC whispered to Justin "Not yet but I will" he said as they watched the three women. And yes Brit did come away with the bouquet. When they got back to the table Justin pulled her onto his lap. "I guess now you think your next" he said teasingly. "Well a girl can dream can't she?" "Yeah she can" He said as he kissed her lightly on the lips. "Thanks" was all she said "Hey why so quiet" "I don't think I should go tonight" she said "Why?" he asked as he pulled her to him "You feel okay" "Yeah its just that tonight is your night, I don't want it to turn into a circus with the reporters concentrating on us" But Justin only laughed at that."Whats so funny" "Don't you know yet" he asked as he held her face with his hands. ""Without you none of this would be worth it.I"ve come to realize that without you none of this is important. Unless you are there. I could loose everything tomorrow but as long as you were here I would still be the rickest man in the world " he said as he wiped the stray tear that fell from her eye. "Your the love of my life. You know this ring isn't just a ring he said as he played with the pinky ring on her left hand. One day I am going to move this over one finger." "J" she said "Don't talk" he said as he placed his lips on hers and kissed her with all the love that he had in him. She was his life, his breath. his salvation.
