"Mommy where is Daddy?" asked 6 year old Amanda.

"Honey, I think your old enough to know about your daddy," said Britney taking a seat next to Amanda.

"Ok. So where is he?" asked Amanda.

"When you were about to be born, he left me for another girl," said Britney tears brimming in her eyes.

"But doesn't he love me?" asked Amanda.

"I don't know sweetie, it's been a long time since I have talked him," said Britney taking Amanda into her lap.

"But Mommy I want to see my daddy!" she said.

"I am sorry," she said standing up from where she was and looking out the window.

"Why Mommy? Why can't I be like my friends? They always tell how their daddies take them camping or other things," cried Amanda.

10 Years Later…

"Amanda, please come down here we need to talk," said Britney.

"About?" asked Amanda.

"I just got a phone call from your principal," said Britney.

"I can explain. I mean I had a test and I didn't study so that's why I cut class," Said Amanda.

"Why didn't you study?"

"Because............"

"You are grounded for 2 weeks, understood?"

"Why I have a date to night, with this guy and I think............"said Amanda.

"Think what?" asked Britney.

"Nothing Mom, I was just talking nonsense," said Amanda.

"Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes," said Britney walking off to the kitchen.

"Hi Dad," said Amanda opening the door for Josh.

"Hey sweetie. How are you?" asked her dad.

"I am ok," said Amanda.

"Where is your brother?" he asked.

"With some girl from school," said Amanda taking the remote control from the coffee table.

"Where is your mom?"

"In the kitchen," said Amanda not taking her eyes away from the television.

"How was your day?" asked Britney.

"I have a new case," he said kissing Britney on the lips. "This teenage boy got in a car accident with the girlfriend and well you how those things are," he said yawning.

"I got a call from Amanda's principal," said Britney.

"What did she do now?"

"She skipped class."

"Why?"

"Because she didn't study for a test. I gave her two weeks of punishment."

"Amanda, Bryan, dinner is ready," called Britney.

"Dad can I have some money for later tonight?" asked Bryan.

"For what?" Josh asked.

"I am going to take this girl to see a movie," said Bryan.

"Do you have permission to go?"

"No."

"When do you plan to ask?"

"Mom, can I go?"

"Did you do your homework?" asked Britney.

"Yes........No it's Friday mom I can do it in the weekend."

"Ok you can."

"Mom!"

"What?"

"Aren't you going to let me go on the date tonight?" asked Amanda.

"No.....you are punished." said Britney.

"But mom!" protested Amanda.

"Haha!" said Bryan.

"Shut up!" said Amanda.

"One of you go and see who is at the door," said Josh.

"Is your mom here?" asked a male voice.

"Who are you?" asked Amanda.

"I am a friend," said the male voice.

"Whatever. Mom some guy is at the door looking for you," said Amanda.

"Britney?" asked the male voice.

"Wade!" said Britney hugging him.

"Someone is here to see you," said Wade.

"Britney, honey who is it?" asked Josh.

"It's Wade," said Britney.

"Wade man long time no see," said Josh.

"What have you been up to?" asked Wade.

"Nothing just working and with the family," said Josh smiling.

"That's great Josh, but I need to talk to Britney alone," said Wade.

"Sure," said Josh walking off.

"Soo.........." said Britney.

"Hi Britney," out of nowhere Justin was right beside Wade.

"Leave now!" said Britney getting angry.

"No. I want to see my daughter," said Justin.

"Your daughter? Please Justin you left me when I was about to give birth, you son of a bitch!" yelled Britney.

"Britney," said Justin.

"Mom is something wrong?" asked Amanda walking next to her.

"Amanda?" asked Justin.

"Yeah?"

"Hi I am Justin."

"I am Wade," taking Amanda's hand and shaking it.

"I am Amanda."

"Honey, go get ready for your date," said Britney.

"I can go?" asked Amanda.

"Yes."

"Thanks Mom," Amanda Kissed Britney's cheek.

"Justin leave, Amanda doesn't know your her real dad and doesn't need to know," said Britney.

"No Justin I don't want her to get hurt."

"Mom? How can you.............."cried Amanda.

"Josh!" yelled Britney.

"What's wrong?" said Josh and Bryan walking in to the room.

"Mom why are you and Amanda crying?" asked Bryan.

"Hi I am Bryan," He said shaking both Justin's and Wade's hands.

"Josh, Amanda knows you’re not her real dad," cried Britney.

"Amanda please come over here," said Josh.

"Hi I am here to pick up Amada," said Eric.

"Dad? What are you dong here?" asked Eric.

"Don't tell me she is your date."

"Yeah what do you think I am doing here."

"No you just can't."

"Why Not?"

"You want to know why?" asked Amanda drying her tears away.

"Your dad is my dad."

"This can't be true."

"But what about mom? Did you................."

"No me and Cameron weren't together when we were going to have her," said Justin.

"Amanda do you hate me?" asked Britney.

"Mom I can't hate you but how could you lie to me like this?" asked Amanda.

"Britney, baby please stop crying," said Josh.

"Hey your that Britney Spears the hot chick that danced in a school girl outfit?" asked Eric.

"Yep she is," said Josh.

"Aww man they are not going to believe this in school," said Eric.

"Amanda go hug you dad," whispered Josh into her ear.

"Dad I..............." said Amanda.

"Go."

"No!" yelled Amanda and ran up to her room.

"Justin come back later we are going to have to talk to Amanda," said Josh.

"Alright."

"Bye," said Justin and Wade.

"Bye."

"Amanda? Please open the door," said Britney for the 100th time.

"Mom I can't forgive him he hurt you so bad," she cried.

"Look honey he came looking for you, not for me."

"But it's weird."

"I know."

"But what about Dad?"

"It's going to be tough but you have to treat them both the same," said Britney.

"Mom. But I love Eric," cried Amanda.

"Honey you are going to have to turn that love into a love for a brother not as a boyfriend," said Britney.

"It's going to be hard, I wanted to him to be with me for my sweet sixteen," said Amanda standing up.

"Well he is going to be there if you invite him but as a brother," Britney hugged her.

"So what are you going to do?" asked Britney.

"About what?"

"Your dad."

"I don’t know I need a lot of time to think."

"Ok I'll leave for you to think then."

"Mom, I am not going to make up my mind in a day," laughed Amanda.

"I know Honey," Britney laughed along.

"Dad, I already have my decision," said Amanda.

"What is it?" asked Josh.

"I am going to invite Justin to my sweet sixteen," said Amanda sitting next to Josh looking straight at him.

"That's nice, I knew you would, "said Josh.

"You are not mad?" asked Amanda.

"No, why would I?" asked Josh.

"I don't know," said Amanda.

"You want to go for a movie?" asked Josh.

"Sure."

"Laura Lynn!" shrieked Britney.

"Brit Brit," said LL

"I heard what happened. Sorry."

"That's ok."

"So how did she take it?"

"I don't know. She and Josh went to the movies," said Britney.

"Britney you are a very lucky girl to have such a great guy like him," said LL.

"I know, I love him so much," said Britney.

"Guess what? You know the guy I was telling you about the other day on the phone?" asked LL.

"Yeah."

"He asked me out."

"What did you say?”

"Yes. We are going out tonight."

"Aww, I am happy for you."

"Thanks."

"Hey LL," said Bryan.

"Hey, how you doing with the girls?" asked LL.

"Pretty good," he smiled.

"Mom can I have a car?" asked Bryan out of nowhere. “I am 17 ok?”

"I have to talk to your dad first."

"Mom, LL," said Amanda.

"Hi honey," said LL.

"Where is your dad?" asked Britney.

"He just dropped me off, he went for Chinese food."

"Mom do you have Justin's phone number or address?"

"I know where he lives."

"Can you take me tomorrow."

"Sure."

"Britney?" asked Cameron.

"Yeah, is Justin here?"

"Yeah"

"Can you call him?"

"Justin, Britney's here"

"Hey, Amanda"

"I just wanted to let you know that Eric and you are invited to my sweet sixteen."

"That's great," he hugged her.

"Aren't you going to call me dad?"

"Um....ok Dad," smiled Amanda.

"This is great we will see you over there then"

"Ok bye"

"Bye," she said as she and Britney walked off."

"Honey you look great," said Josh.

"Thanks dad."

"Mom what do you think?"

"You look very pretty"

"Mom before we go I need to talk to you," said Amanda.

"Mom I am pregnant."

"I know."

"How do you know?"

"I found the pregnancy test."

"Mom I’ m sorry," she cried

"Who is the dad?"

"Jamie."

"It's going to change your life forever."

"I know."

"Does he know?"

"Yeah that why he broke up with me in the first place."

"How many weeks?"

"1 month.”

"Wow."

8 months later

"So what we going to name her?" asked Jamie.

"Isabelle?"

"No. Amanda."

"How about Nicole."

"Alright."

"We are barely sixteen and we have a baby," said Amanda.

3 years later

"Hey honey," said her soon to be husband.

"Hey," said Amanda.

"Where is Nikki?"

"At her grandma's house."

"Oh."

"I can't believe she is three 3 years old," said Amanda.

"Me either it just seemed like it was yesterday when she was born," said Jamie falling asleep next Amanda.

"Hello?" asked Jamie waking up by the phone call.

"When are you going to pick up Nikki?" asked Britney.

"Who is it?"

"Your mom, she asks when are we going to pick up Nikki."

"Tell her we are on our way," said Amanda laughing.
