Part 1

Britney's POV

"Dad, why do I have to have a "baby sitter"?" Britney, while, quoting with her fingers.

"Because, it's too risky for you too be alone. With all the people I have after me, I don't need you coming up for ransom, and then killed. Anyways, it's not a babysitter. He's just going to be.. protecting you." Jamie replied, opening up the kitchen cabinet.

"So I have to be stuck with a dick brain instead of just having someone like one of your girls watch over me? At least I could go shopping and not hear, 'I'm tired. I wanna go.' all the time." Britney huffed.

"He is not a dick brain. He's one of my finest men. Actually he's my finest. I taught him myself." Jamie added as he looked through another cabinet.

"Great! Why couldn't I have had a normal family? But no. My father, brother, uncles, cousins, great-grandfathers all the way back to the god knows what ages, have to be enemies with the mafia. How lovely." Britney shouted looking up at the ceiling.

"Dear, it's for your safety." Her mother said as she walked in.

"Why doesn't Jamie Lynn have to be under prevalence?" Britney questioned.

"Because, she will be under watch by me." Bryan said, putting a coke into the fridge.

"Well why can't Bryan watch over the both of us?" Britney asked.

"One, Jamie Lynn hardly leaves the house, two, your friends can't leak anything. It's too risky." Jamie said. He grumbled about cookies not being in the cabinet.

"So I can't even hang with my friends!?" Britney screamed. Every winced as they heard her screech.

"It's too-" Britney cut in.

"Risky." Britney sighed walking into the living room.

"You might want to pack your bags, basically, your room." Jamie said, following her into the living room.

"Why? Aren't I staying here?" Britney asked, confused.

"No. The man I have watching you has an island off the coast of the Philippines. He has a huge beach house where you can swim, play tennis, basketball, anything. Contact will be between him and I only. No, absolutely no contact between you, your friends, and the family. No one. Do you understand, Britney?" Jamie asked sternly. Britney looked down at her hands. This was going to be a nightmare. Probably some bald, fat, ugly, bald guy, with a thing for teenage girls. She shook her head. Her dad wouldn't put her in that situation. Well, at least the teenage girls thing.

"Yeah." Britney whispered walking up to her room. Lynn and Jamie looked up at their retreating daughter.

"She's your daughter." Jamie whispered to Lynn. Lynn chuckled.

As Britney made it too her room, she got all of her suit cases out. She saw Linda, the maid come in.

"Do you need any help miss?" Linda asked.

"Um...yeah. A one way ticket to normal family." Britney scoffed taking all of her pants out of the top drawer. Linda chuckled.

"Aren't you going to need shorts? Isn't going to be hot?"
"I guess so. I don't know. Just in case you know?" Britney said putting her shorts in.

"Why do you want a normal family? Your families rich, you have beautiful everything."

"I don't know." Britney said as they closed all of her stuff. Everything was pretty much empty. She had her pictures, clothes, perfume, soap, and everything else she needed. The descended the stairs and Britney hugged her family goodbye. "See you in a year baby sister." Britney laughed as Jamie Lynn hugged her. Britney got into the limo, headed to the airport. When she got there, she immediately got onto the flight. That's one thing she liked about her life. No late flights. The plane was basically crowded with rich people. Britney sighed, seeing the movie in front of her wasn't interesting at all. She turned her head and fell asleep. A few hours later she felt someone tap her shoulder.

"Ma'am, the plane has stopped. You may get off now." She smiled at the flight attendant and descended off the plane staircase. She saw a black limo, knowing, that was her ride. An elderly man opened the door for her. She slid in sighing. Boy, was this going to be a long year. The limo came to a halt at the docks. She was confused, as the man opened the door for her. She saw a boat docked and saw a man leaning against a post. He looked about 6'2", brown hair, as far as she could she at least, and his back was turned to her. Britney slowly walked up to him.

"Hi." Britney said looking up at him. She got a better view of him. He had dark, blue eyes, tan skin, curly hair, khaki shorts on, and a green abercrombie t-shirt on.

"Let's go." He said coldly. Britney followed him onto the boat. He started the boat and they drove away from the dock.

"Look, as much as you don't want to be here, I don't want to either. If we have to spend a year together then we have to be at least civil." Britney said squinting at him.

"So, you're not going to pry into me like everyone else?" He asked.

"Unless you want me to." Britney replied. He chuckled.

"You're not going to be as bad as the others." He said.

"Others?"

"I have done earlier assignments." He said looking ahead.

"Oh. Well, what's your name?" Britney asked smiling.

"Justin. You can call me J if you like." He said stopping the boat at an island. He helped her off of the boat and back more ways to the house. "Don't go in yet." He said. He grabbed some oil and a match and walked up to the boat. He sprayed some oil on it, lit the match and threw it on the boat. It went ablaze in seconds, and Britney's mouth dropped open.

"H-h-h-h-ow are we supposed to get home?" Britney whimpered.

"Phone." Justin said. He was crazy. He was nuts!

"What?"

"Never mind. Come on." Justin said leading her up to the house. He opened the front door and lead her in. "I'll show you your bedroom first. Remember, the bathroom is connected, but you do have your own bathroom. Your room was already designed, by your mother, and is an exact replica of yours in L.A. You have your own food in the adjoined kitchen, but are still welcomed to the food in the main kitchen. If you need anything just call." Justin said walking out.

"Justin?" Britney said.

"Huh?"

"Could you stay in here. It's lonely." Britney said looking up at him.

"Sure." Justin replied, sitting down next to her on her bed.

"Do I have any games?" Britney asked.

"Games? As in video games?" Justin asked as if she was for real.

"Yeah. You know x-box, play station? Do I?" Britney asked looking at her t.v.

"Umm, no. You're a girl and you like video games?" Justin asked. He was stunned.

"Yeah." Britney said getting frustrated.

"I have some in my room..." Justin said. He was unable to finish his sentence though.

"Can we play with them?" Britney asked. Her eyes lit up like a child's on Christmas.

"SSuuurree." Justin said looking at her funny. He shook his head and lead her to his bedroom.

"How bout we play this one?" Britney asked.

"OK. It's a favorite of mine."
"Me too." Britney laughed putting in the game. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
